March 9, 2026

Video Transcript

"Across more than 209,000 active jobs in the JobsJudo market index, remote work isn't evenly distributed."

At the top of the remote spectrum are roles like Data Analytics at about 14.2 percent remote, followed by Marketing and Communications around 11.7 percent, and Cybersecurity near 10.5 percent.

Just below that are disciplines like Product Management near 9.8 percent and Sales and Business Development around 9.6 percent remote.

Even roles often associated with remote work — like Software Engineering — sit closer to about 8 percent remote, alongside areas like Finance, Accounting, and Customer Service.

And then you reach work that simply can't travel well — hardware engineering, manufacturing, and physical operations roles.

Across industries, the highest remote share actually appears in Nonprofit and NGO organizations at about 16.4 percent, followed by Education around 12.5 percent, with Technology Software around 10 percent.

The lesson isn't that remote jobs disappeared.

It's that remote opportunities concentrate in specific kinds of work.

If you want to explore these patterns yourself, you can see the live market data at JobsJudo.com. Because the job market isn't broken. Your position inside it matters.
