Browsing job boards one listing at a time is the old workflow. In 2026, the better move is to structure the market first, export the slice you care about, and let an AI assistant compare that market against your resume.
The Workflow
- Choose the market slice. Start with the discipline you want, then narrow by industry, geography, work arrangement, and seniority.
- Export the job pack. In the video, the target slice is remote senior roles, which returns a little over 200 matching jobs.
- Give the pack to ChatGPT with your resume. Instead of asking AI to guess what is out there, give it the actual jobs you are considering.
- Ask for the apply list. Have it rank the top 10 roles, explain why each one fits, and flag where you should expect a response.
That changes the job search from scrolling to triage. You are no longer asking, "What jobs exist?" You are asking, "Which of these specific roles are worth my time?"
A Prompt You Can Use

Once you have that ranked list, you can go deeper: ask ChatGPT to draft a role-specific resume version, write a cover note, or identify the one experience bullet most likely to matter for each company.
The trick is not replacing your judgment. The trick is giving AI the whole market slice before you ask it to judge.
